Finally, there was the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change synthesis report last fall.
Whether it would quell the debate over global cooling - fueled in part by the East Coast's hard winter and the revelation of errors in the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change synthesis report - is less certain.

The new UNFCCC
synthesis report finds that all countries have upped their ambition from their pre-2020 climate actions, but there's still more work to do to limit global temperature rise to 2 degrees C and prevent the worst impacts of climate
change.
The AR5 Scoping Meeting, held in Venice, Italy, in July 2009 recommended that the
