Checking page ranking is another way to see how popular a web site has become.
I'm
checking page rank (even though it's retired) because it gives me a good indication of the sites age and backlinks.

check on your
rankings (which will also be heavily influenced by the

page header, website age, inbound links, and many other factors).

Awake, I'm too unfocused to produce anything useful, so I find myself in front of my refrigerator, posting dog pictures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (the time - suck trifecta), and, the worst, repeatedly refreshing the not - yet - published book's Amazon

Amazon has a service called Author Central, which allows you to provide more information about yourself (here's my humble
page), feeds from your blog or twitter profile, and also
check on details of your books, their sales
rankings and reviews by customers.
One of the reasons why I hit upon doing the NPR Books Watch is because it's easy enough (if time consuming) to look up book stories on the NPR Books
page and then
check sales
rankings on Amazon.

page and scrolled down to the

Check your book's sales
page under «Product Details» to see its
rank overall in the Kindle store and in each of its categories.
Check your website analytics one morning, and either of these results would make your day: • Your firm received 10,000 website visits • Your firm
