Hi, what is the best way to mix nut butter with plant based milk (like almond or soy milk), so I can make my overnight
oatmeal /
chia seeds
breakfast?
My
breakfast is usually apple + cinnamon +
oatmeal +
chia seeds + peanut butter.
Suggesting making
oatmeal with almond butter for
breakfast and suggesting buckwheat
chia pancakes with maple cashew cream are two very, very different things.
I usually have
oatmeal with
chia, spices, coconut oil, and maple syrup in the winter for
breakfast!

I'm always looking for ways to mix up our
oatmeal... it's my daughter's favorite
breakfast, but I've been getting tired of the same old oats with blueberries and
chia / flax.
This tropical version of my
breakfast oatmeal has fresh mango and fragrant toasted coconut flakes, along with filling
chia seeds and flavorful agave syrup.
So this weekend, when I was craving something special but still wanting to keep things at least relatively healthy, I decided to dial my average
oatmeal breakfast up a notch with slow - cooked steel cut oats, a lightly sweet touch of honey, and a sprinkle of
chia seeds.

Made with almond milk, Greek yogurt, along with the addition of
chia seeds and
oatmeal, this
breakfast is loaded with protein and fiber.
My favorite get - out - the - door - fast
breakfast is a smoothie made with
oatmeal, plain yogurt, frozen berries and / or banana, some
chia or flax seeds, and some orange juice.
Wednesday morning we wrapped up with another yoga class and a
breakfast parfait bar filled with
oatmeal,
chia seed pudding, yogurt, fruit and toppings.
Loaded with wholesome ingredients like whole grain oats, blueberries, and
chia seeds, these healthy blueberry
oatmeal snack bars make a great
breakfast or afternoon treat.
It has all the ingredients I add to my normal
breakfast - blueberries, banana,
chia seeds, milk, and, of course,
oatmeal.

Recently though, I started throwing
chia seeds in my with many bowls of
breakfast oatmeal to thicken them up a bit and I found that I actually liked the results.
As you'll see from this post, I'm currently obsessed with «cheesy» tofu scramble and even switched up my daily
oatmeal breakfast for some berry chocolate
chia pudding!
Add to
breakfast: Flaxseeds,
chia seeds and hemp seeds work really well in smoothies,
oatmeal, cereal, toast and muffins.
I just can't get enough of this
breakfast:
