Lisson Gallery, London until 12 July 2014 (Richard Long RA) and 19 July 2014 (Ai Weiwei) London's Lisson Gallery presents two heavyweights of contemporary art in their two exhibition spaces in Edgware Road from today: Chinese artist - activist Ai Weiwei — an Honorary Royal Academician — and British sculptor Richard Long RA.
The exhibition is part of NOW: a dialogue on female Chinese contemporary artists, a programme led by Manchester's Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art in collaboration with five other UK art institutions.
The exhibition focused on two generations of Chinese artists and how they related to both continuing established traditions and participating in the future development of their country.

The Museum of Art is pleased to be a leader in presenting significant exhibitions of contemporary Chinese art, and to be recognized as the institution known for introducing important Chinese artists to Maine and Northern New England.
Among the works included in the exhibition are Untitled (Chinese)(2011), from a group of works inspired by an antique Chinese mirror; Untitled (Goya)(2007), a painting on a found awning, burnt by the sun, from a butcher shop in The Atlas Mountains of Morocco; and Untitled (Goodbye Mike Kelley)(2012), made shortly after the death of artist Mike Kelley, which incorporates a historical painting, on printed Dufour wallpaper, of the Revolutionary War.
Curated by artistic director Marco Scotini in collaboration with a board of Chinese advisors and the Mei Lanfang Archive, the exhibition juxtaposes works by Chinese artists with those of international artists.
After having presented the acclaimed set of sculptures, Circle of Animals / Zodiac Heads in 2016, the National Gallery in Prague is proud to host the Law of the Journey, the first exhibition in the Czech Republic (and in Central - Eastern Europe) of the distinguished Chinese contemporary artist, Ai Weiwei.

The exhibition explores work by key artists and collectives whose «critical provocations aim to forge reality free from ideology, to establish the individual apart from the collective, and to define contemporary Chinese experience in universal terms.»

Guggenheim Ramps Up Its Focus on China — The New York museum will begin commissioning new work from artists in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan and also create a new curatorial position devoted to contemporary Chinese art after receiving a $ 10 million grant from the Hong Kong - based Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation, which was also the lead sponsor of the museum's 2008 Cai Guo - Qiang exhibition.
