I read it with a bias toward David

nice guy... so I assumed that he
was pointing out that @ $ $ holes come in many flavors and
being atheist or
Christian doesn't make you any more or less prone to it... some
people are just pricks.
In Church, because we
're all
Christian and because we want to
be nice to
people, we let well - meaning
people do the wrong jobs and therefore we do God a disservice by not presenting his incredibleness in the best possible way.
People in all groups,
Christian or whatever - some
are nicer than others.
We take the advice of their own Bible, and judge them by their works, and the verdict
is that these
Christians are just not very
nice people at all.

's nice to know that the Sunday morning
Christians have driven away more

nice prophet» and NOT the Son of God and Mankind's Redeemer then I will choose the
Christian every time.
We
are Christians, not because «we
are (or think we
are) good, or right, or just, or «concerned» — and certainly not because we
are «
nice» — though hopefully we
are (as Reinhold Niebuhr once said) «as decent as ordinary
people.»
Christians are not usually good or

are very
nice, friendly, caring
people who
are truly concerned for others, even if they don't share their views.

It would
be nice if the
Christian charities would provide for the needy but we have 50,000,000
people without insurance and children dying for lack of care so it
is not happening.
Just like going to a restaurant
is a
nice change of pace to get fed on a lazy day and get some food you wouldn't get at home... (2) I think we want to
be a part of something bigger than ourselves, and meeting with other
Christians on Sundays helps us with that — singing together, fellowshiping, etc. (3) Sunday mornings can
