Just for an example Four months ago I downgraded Citi AA Platinum into Citi AA Gold So if downgrading does nt count then i could apply for Citi AA Executive in 8 months since its 24 months from when i opened the Platinum But If downgrading does count then i better apply before 8/28 for the Exectutive or i will have to wait 20 more months.
