I don't know quite what to make of the score's secondary theme, introduced in «Offerings» (where I guess the third part of the score begins): a Morriconean whistling recorder and some metallic clanking percussion in that instance, getting somewhat tribal later on, it is certainly creative but not always exactly endearing.

The musical score sounds great and the voice acting is good, but sound effects in battles sound cheap and don't convey any power behind any of your attacks, instead generic thuds, clanks and zaps are what you'll be hearing most of the time, making battles not quite the spectacular and exciting situation as they we're in the earlier games.
While the tone of the Ratchet and Clank games has always been pretty lighthearted and witty, I can't stress enough how pulling off truly clever and well timed humor like this game does is light years harder than writing Oscar bait war dramas like Mass Effect.
Insomniac has Ratchet & Clank and we still don't even know what Quantic Dream and Sony Bend are up to.

The goal, however, is to create «deep worlds, rich stories, [and] accessible gameplay,» so don't start bracing yourself for Ratchet and Clank Present: SororityVilleWars just yet.
Short but sweet in a neat little package that doesn't outstay its welcome, Ratchet and Clank never ceases to surprise players with it's interesting worlds, loveable characters and imaginative weapons that make for one of this decade's best 3D platformers.
But at the same time, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, arguably the most innuendo - y of the bunch, did not get a different name in Europe, while Full Frontal Assault did: Ratchet & Clank: QForce.
The voice acting is also very well done and Clank's almost evil sounding laugh is sure to cause plenty of people to chuckle.
Announced at last year's E3, creators Insomniac didn't make it all too clear what the first Ratchet & Clank game for PlayStation 4 would actually be like, aside from vague mentions of being a remake.

I was kinda gutted last Month, I already had Bloodborne (who doesn't, best game on the PS4) and Ratchet and Clank, but I appreciated the fact they'd offered two brilliant titles.
Sunset Overdrive, whilst being a quality game, is chock full of ideas taken directly from other games like Jet Set Radio, Ratchet & Clank, Saints Row and inFamous, in a way that shows it really doesn't know what it wants to be.
I would like to add though that the PS3 additions to the service are still of great value to me and I do hope there will be some good games coming, ratchet and clank nexus, rain, far cry 3 blood dragon would be good examples.
The clank of the sword to the yell of Link sounds great, even if Link does yell some strange things.
Sometimes I wish that Insomniac Games and Sony would reteam for new Ratchet And Clank sequels more often than they currently do, but then I remind myself that part of the reason the series is still innovative and entertaining is that the developers don't drain the creative lake by overfishing it.
I have quite a few games that don't have any (noticable) load times including Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, God of War, and both Mega Man games.
