at our CB At the moment Kos, top player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender of his quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT as he isn't Kos quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuck
at our CB

average, so what does he have to do to gain support, score a hat trick, be Maradona??! Honestly some of you guys complain too much.
Up front we have a few world -
class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world -
class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below
average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased
at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our
average,
at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Fans fail to see that we are blessed to have a DM like coquelin, I mean look
at how solid our team has become when he plays. His defensive qualities are what please me the most.Coquelin reads the game really well and knows exactly where an opponent is going to drop the next pass that is why you see him making so many interceptions because he reads the game well and he is not afraid to challenge for the ball.He is also very desciplined withe ball and passes the ball quick enough to start a counter attack. So for me, I couldn't ask for another DM than Coquelin please let's learn to appreciate what we have.Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Kondogbia etc are highly rated because they play for other clubs if they were playing for Arsenal we would have branded them «
average players», we would be crying for Wenger to sign «world
class DMs».
mates its time we say hard truths and stand by them.we want arsenal to win the title not arsen so spending is not an issue.this season we hve seen how our squad is of
average quality only three or four world
class players.is wenger the man to take us the next level.someone who drops joel and picks Walcott who is currently playing like an amateur.our midfield is shocking we keep passing the ball backwards till we concede is when we st art shifting gears.we need more urgency from both the players and manager.play the same way everyweek and expect a win.its time arsenal moves on we need new man
at the helm to lead the club.
Elneny isnt a world
class champion DM converting to CB with Masc, he is an
average AT BEST CM.
I just don't know what their about.Don't we know there's a risk associated with signing any player? To me Lacazette is value for money and I believe we are signing him
at almost the right price. All we need is someone who can finish and Lacazette fits the bill. This is the kind of mentality that won't see us winning trophies anytime soon.He was my last option for CF but I won't deny the fact that he's a very good option.People are not able to justify the fact that he's
average with facts.Yet the same people say Giroud is world
class and so on.Shame on those people. They obviously don't know and understand what football is.
I'm fine with a platoon of Walcott, Welbeck, and Giroud (preferably in that order mind you)
at striker until we find the «world
class» striker we want as I think most of the strikers we are linked with are just as
average as Giroud.
Their is nothing wrong with Alexis, for how long can he be
at such level in the mix of Players like flamini and those
average players couple with the dream of board and the type of manager, Arsenal can not improve the level of any player that has played in such highest level in Barcelona but he can continue giving his best when he sees
class of determined and fantastic players around him.
Should this even be a topic?Giroud is a player of
average quality always surrounded by good players.I just don't get. It's as if only Arsenal fans rate him. This was a player who was bought to be the leading striker
at Arsenal and after his years of failure which many deny he's now become a super sub?How laughable is that. From failure to super sub.If the so called world
class striker we're signing goes out with an injury for about five months who comes in then.It seems to me people lack vision. Why is it always Giroud Giroud Giroud? After so many seasons people are still debating what souldn't even be debatable.I've lost count of the number of times he's been talked about here. This is the problem with our club. It's just not ruthless. This is a player who should have been gone long ago but due to him being French he still gets the chances. We won't miss him when he goes and I'd like to see if he'd stand out in a smaller club.
total failure... Can you believe Wenger spent 32 millions on 2
average players (Chambers and Welbeck) and is penny pinching when is sbout real
class players? What is in his mind?Pay a fortune in salary for mediocre players live Walcott, Ramsey and Wilshere and have hesitations about increasing Sanchez wages... keeping on books failures like Sanogo... The truth is - I say it for years and years - until the «British core» disapears, we are not going to be succesful. The low quality of British players is dragging the team back.Last time Arsenal was a powerhouse NONE of the first 11 was British.Wanna see how the British quality looks like in a football team - look no further than national sides of England, Scotland, N Ireland, Wales, even Ireland (not British but same style)- all mediocre teams «able» to be defeated by any team coming to mind. And you are asking about Chambers? He is in the same mold like Wilshere,Walcott,Ox,Ramsey,Gibs,Jenkinson - mediocre overpriced and overpaid players. The world is full with hungry, ambitious and skilled players living in poverty and dreaming of moving to the top
at any cost or sacrifice (did you see the poor house - if you can call that house, looking more like an old tent - in which Alexis Sanchez grew up?Or Suarez?)
I am pissed today hearing about Olivier Giroud three year contract and salary he is earning. That is unfair because Giroud does not deserve it.He has not worked to show that he deserves it.We should look
at the quality snd output of our players before paying them.Well its too late now so we should look forward. We do nt need stats to even tell us that Girouf is usually
average for arsenal than good
at most times.I would have sold him if i was Wenger because he does not deserve to be leading the line still after 3 years and i doubt he will like to warm the bench. He is very lucky to have Wenger as a coach of arsenal london fc.Arsenal has not moved forward because we think getting rid of players is a bad thing. We always hesitate when it comes to selling players we do nt need.Arsenal need a world
class cf not a world
class cf.Its is time to move forward by addressing our mistakes.Since Van persie left we have needed a cf and ifBenzema is available we need to get rid of who we do nt need so that we move forward.Arsenal do not need Giroud though many may be against my speech.Once the premier league starts and Giroud is our main cf it shows that Wenger has not learnt from his mistakes.Just as we got Cech who to me was a need he needs to just find as a reliable and clinical cf.
Mate, we're already in a long difficult period and as for what happened
at man utd Wenger can't be compared to Alex Ferguson he was a serial winner he made
average players play above themselves Wenger can't even get world
class players to play.
The weight
class is very underrated on the whole and the
average fighter in the top 10 is more well rounded
at FLW than in the heavier divisions.
I hope Xhaka is benched for yhis game. If's funny how people can ever think for a moment that Xhaka is better than Wilshere.Wilsherefor all his injuries and unrealised potential is twice the player Xhaka is and a level above Ramsey in technique, talent and ability.I didn't like how people used the Europa league maych to judgr him
at all after he had shown world
class performances in previous matches.I just don't get why people love Xhaka.People call Coquelin
average but if played in his actual position and not this box - to - box or whatever he will defend brillianly and give it to his more reliable partner which quite unfortunately we don't havd
at the moment.
Bendtner or Chamakh would still have been considered
average even if they scored 25goals because they had
average talent. For all the potential Bendtner had he never maximised it so as long asit wasn't developed he's still
average.I mean it's possoble for an
average player to score 25 goals when given the chances and possible for a world
class striker to score less than that.Quality is a talent which may be linked to stats but does not necessarily show on stats.Take Ox for example, if you looked
at his stats you might think he's
average but he's not.Look
at Lukaku, he's scored many goals for Everton yetmany people here think he's not gpod enough for Arsenal because they look
at the quality and talent andnot just the goals.
