The online mode will give gamers the chance to vote for the circuit, bike
class, and number of laps before they take to the track and compete in an online Arcade racer or Career mode championship. Once the race comes to an end it's over to the online
leaderboards to see where you
rank against the rest of the world. Not only will you find competitors» lap times but the option to upload and download racing ghosts and riding lines, which will help you compete against the very best or for those new to the series learn the skills they need to race to the top of the leaderboard. There will also be a demo available on XBox Live and PSN before the game launches.
Students can then view their Engagement Index score and
class ranking on the course
leaderboard.
Completing challenges with any
class will gradually earn you
leaderboard ranks and persistent upgrades linked to your player account, making you the star of the show and a badass in your own right.
Time Attack online
leaderboards focus on fastest times from each player with
rankings covering all 19 tracks across both
classes with each
leaderboard containing each player's
rank; name (PSN ID); the bike and physics setting used during the player's fastest time; and the best time set by each player, while players can compare their positioning on the
leaderboards with players that occupy the top positions, globally, from your friends list and to immediately find and display your position within any given
leaderboard.
