It wasn't until I went without running
water, was unable to wash my hands, and advised not to
drink the tap
water, that I felt a profound gratitude for the

drink and bathe in daily here in America, let
alone the luxuries of a hot shower, a flushing toilet, and
water that I know will not put me in danger if I ingest it.
