smoothie from breakfast or an apple and
almond butter — and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
The new recipes are absolutely incredible and I'm so happy with them — for the sweet recipes think creamy key lime pie, beetroot chocolate cake with
coconut icing, dreamy
smoothies, baked apple and cinnamon porridge, berry scones with
coconut cream,
almond butter fudge and raw banana splits!
PS — my daughter loves this, just got her started on
smoothies with Bananas,
coconut milk and
almond butter, I've been sneaking in some flax seed but I think I'll give the Maca a go and I'm loving the idea of the dates

almonds, cinnamon, maple syrup or honey, bananas, avocado, mango, spinach, milk,
almond butter, mint leaves, and toppings of your choice.
Iv» e been doing the 21 day sugar detox so I have been doing a
smoothie with yogurt,
almond butter,
coconut butter, unsweetened chocolate, milk and one banana and it's been keeping me full till lunch.
I make something similar to this
smoothie and LOVE it for breakfast or lunch... i use chocolate
almond milk or chocolate
coconut milk, bananas, peanut
butter, a tbsp of ground
almonds or hazelnuts and a tbsp of oat bran!!!
Then, this
almond milk, full - fat
coconut milk, banana and
almond butter smoothie may be just what you need.
Breakfast — Either a
smoothie with greens and healthy fats (avocado,
almond butter,
coconut etc) or steel - cut oatmeal with tons of toppings in the winter.
Add bananas, ice, milk, coffee, oats, honey,
almond butter, chopped chocolate covered espresso beans,
coconut oil, and vanilla in a blender and blend until
smoothie and creamy.
Instead, I gravitate towards lighter fare such as salads, lightly cooked soups, oat porridge, green and superfood
smoothies, fruit, raw vegetables, small amounts of healthy fats (peanut
butter, olives,
coconut, raw
almond butter, raw nuts and seeds, etc.), and more raw entrees along with steamed vegetables or the occasional roasted vegetable, legume and grain dish.

I used
coconut almond milk instead of vanilla just because I had some on hand, but the
coconut butter didn't seem to mix in super well with the
smoothie.

We started with
smoothies, of course — I Am Grace for me (young
coconut milk,
almond butter, date, and vanilla bean; SO GOOD!)
Rich in flavor that reminds me more of
almond butter than
coconut, slather it on bananas, add a dollop to a
smoothie, dip apples into it, spread some on toast, grab a spoonful for a quick burst of energy or simply to kill an inevitable bout of hanger (hunger + anger).
Breakfasts — for breakfast I often have toast with avocado, nooch and sea salt; sugar free cereal with fresh fruit and sees / nuts and
almond milk; eggs and toast;
coconut yogurt with berries and seeds; scrambled eggs with veggies; leftovers from dinner; green
smoothies; rice or wasa crackers with nut
butters and dates — you get the idea... Mom's muffins are one of my favorites!

Great options anyone can reach for include raw veggies with hummus or guacamole, fresh fruit with nuts, seeds or nut / seed
butter, or a
smoothie made with a plant - based â $ milkâ $ (like
almond or
coconut) with fruit, leafy greens, and a plant - derived protein powder, such as pea or hemp.
I chop veggies, make yummy fat - balls (ghee,
almond butter,
coconut oil, chia seeds — heaven), and all sorts of
smoothies and coffee drinks every day.
My go - to
smoothie usually contains avocado, blueberries,
almond milk, cashew
butter, chia seeds, protein powder, greens powder, and ice, but if I'm pressed for time I simply add a scoop of Amazing Grass (powder) to some
coconut milk, shake, and run out the door.
Another favorite is a slice of toasted gluten - free sourdough bread with a good slather of Justin's
almond butter and some berries on top of my favorite
smoothie recipe:

almond butter and it is so incredibly delicious.
1/2 -1 cup
almond milk (use less for a thicker consistency) 1/2 cup cauliflower, steamed and frozen 1 tablespoon cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tablespoon
almond butter (or organic peanut
butter) 1 large banana, sliced and frozen ahead of time 1/4 avocado (or more) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 scoop protein powder (optional) Pinch of sea salt 2 teaspoons shredded
coconut (optional but good) 1 - 2 teaspoons cacao nibs (pulse at end) Top with dark chocolate shavings or more cacao nibs for an extra decadent

butter, avocado oil and filtered water.
This
smoothie combines hydrating
coconut water with healthy fats and protein from the flax seeds,
coconut butter, and
almond butter.
Breakfast Detox
Smoothie (adapted from the recipe by Dr. Mark Hyman, «10 - Day Detox Diet») Ingredients: 1 cup unsweetened
coconut or
almond milk 1 cup water 1 cup organic frozen or fresh berries 1 TBS
almond butter (organic and raw is best) 3 TBS hemp seeds 1 TBS flax seeds 1 TBS
coconut butter 4 raw organic walnuts 1/4 lemon 2 TBS cinnamon Pinch of cayenne Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
This recipe is relatively similar to my Super Simple Green
Smoothie, but uses a few different ingredients including
almond butter and
coconut milk.
