When I'm flying with my kid I usually pack: a baggy of Canaan's current favorite
cereal (either Rice Chex or now it's pumpkin Joe's O's), LaraBars, Rx Bars, or Perfect Bars, dried
coconut strips, apple slices, celery or carrots, homemade Easy Protein Energy Bites, a banana
and Justin's vanilla
almond butter packets
and sometimes a small container of rinsed chickpeas.

I switched to
almond milk, I've had great success, I only have it with
cereal so far, I haven't made a smoothie yet but I'm going to start making them again
and use a Tbl spoon of virgin
coconut oil.
2 Sambazon smoothie packs 1/4 cup unsweetened
almond milk 1 banana, divided 1 tablespoon
coconut flakes 1 tablespoon dried
and / or fresh berries 1 tablespoon high - fiber
cereal or granola
For milk in
cereal and smoothies, our favourite is Silk
Almond Coconut milk but I like anything except for rice milk which I find too thin.
Simply mash the banana in the bottom of a
cereal bowl, stir in shredded
coconut,
almond flour, cashew milk,
and cinnamon,
and microwave until hot.
In a large bowl, place the oats, rice
cereal,
coconut flakes,
almonds, powdered peanut butter, protein powder,
and salt,
and mix gently to combine well.
Roasted
almonds, crispy brown rice
cereal, pumpkin seeds
and coconut flakes added an appealing variety of textures
and tastes.

Made with
coconut oil, eggs, sugar, a splash of
almond milk, gluten free flour, the different TRIX
cereal colors ground into flour, vanilla,
and baking powder.
Before I cut the sugar, my breakfasts often consisted of gluten free
cereal, fresh fruit
and coconut yoghurt, sometimes paleo toast with avocado
and almond butter, sometimes eggs (but mostly in the weekend),
and sometimes pancakes!

and allergy friendly chips we use)
Enjoy this
coconut, cardamom,
and almond granola on its own, with milk as a
cereal, or on top of plain yogurt.
Instead of the rice
cereal, I used unsweetened
coconut and another time with loosely ground
almonds and both were excellent.

It provides a good base for a veggie burger
and is also a fantastic breakfast

coconut milk
and berries.
