At the time, the chamber's education committee chair, John Flanagan, likened his colleagues to «thoroughbreds,
right inside the gate before the race,» describing their urgency to legislate amendments to
Common Core implementation.

right to fail to note that the
Common Core would have been — at least at this point in time — a sort of ambitious pilot program involving a smallish number of states that were serious about the
implementation challenges, until the feds blundered into the middle of it with «incentives» that turned it into a sort of national piñata.
Those on the

implementation right.
Just a month ago, on October 23rd, Cuomo sounded much more supportive of the
Common Core implementation, saying change can be hard «even when it's
right».
Those on the
right fear that the
Common Core inappropriately imposes national education standards on states, does not come with a clear
implementation process, and poses grave threats to student privacy.

right to access equal education.
