Park district

center of a battle between the two
communities, a dispute prompted by comments from Lake in the Hills
officials that they may be open to putting a gravel pit on the site west of Illinois Highway 31 and south of Rakow Road.
The current
community center near the village hall is too small and is mostly made up of classrooms, Park District
officials said.
