I had a thought - provoking and inspiring couple of days as a scholar at the Crawford Fund's Annual
Conference on food security which I had the honour of attending as a scholar funded by the Gardiner Foundation.

food security risks, whilst Worldwatch Institute will show how innovations in agriculture can sequestrate carbon emissions.
The concepts of
food waste and
food loss form a major part in the achievement of
food security for us, and in that light, this year's Crawford Fund's annual
conference hit the nail
on the head with regards to facilitating discussion and interaction
on these issues.

In conclusion, the
conference was very informative and I was able to gain more knowledge
on food security issues in some developing countries and the role that international agriculture research plays in developing a
food secure world.
