The Padi Open
Water course is divided into 3 modules: Academic module or scuba theory with the Padi videos and Padi book,
Confined Waters where we practice diving

Confined Water We have a swimming pool where your child will practice all the
skills and procedures to ensure that your child are comfortable with the equipment.
While PADI Scuba Tune - up Online does not necessarily require that any training dives in
confined or open
water take place, it makes sense to refresh both your knowledge and
skills.
We transfer all the
skills you have learned in
confined water to an open
water environment so, for example, the
water will be deeper than in
confined water, the visibility will be different, there could be waves or current to deal with but as you have mastered the
skills in
confined water already you will be prepared and able to handle the different environment.

water dives per day from the boat with our instructor perfecting the

We'll conduct your
confined water dive in the DJL pool — this is convenient as it's next to the Dive shop and many people do find it more comfortable to do these sessions in the pool so that whilst you're mastering basic
skills you don't deal with different conditions and waves as in the sea.
You'll develop basic scuba
skills in a pool or in
confined water — a body of
water with pool - like conditions, such as off a calm beach.
You will be asked to repeat the
skills you learned in
confined water scuba diving training with your instructor in the ocean, then we will concentrate on having some fun scuba diving in Oahu.
