There are only two physical controls: the volume rocker on the left side, and the power switch on the right, which doubles as a lock and hold key in certain apps.

The ZenFone 2 also stole the placement of rocker switch for the volume control on the back of the device, however, the on / off button is somewhat awkwardly place on the top of the device — it is not the great feel of the LG series.

On the right - hand side of the Z10, anyone familiar with the BlackBerry PlayBook will instantly recognise the triple button setup, with volume rocker switches separated by a central key — used for playing / pausing music and activating voice control when held down.
