I made a similar

cream!
I was using it on everything —
smoothie bowls, breakfast sweet potato parfaits, sweet omelettes, in my protein ice
cream, on toast... basically anything that needed some extra crunch got some chocolate granola.

Bowl — This vegan but creamy tasting
smoothie bowl is a beautiful lavender color.
When thoroughly chilled, being careful not to shake, open up the two cans of straight coconut milk and (depending on whether you have opened the can with the
cream or liquid layer at the top) either tip off the coconut water into a glass and scoop out the coconut
cream that is left into a
bowl, or scoop the coconut
cream off the top to a
bowl and pour the leftover coconut water into a glass (save the coconut water to drink or put in a
smoothie).
Not only does it feel like you're binge - ing on ice
cream but
smoothie bowls are a simple, quick and delicious way to sneak a ton of nutrients into your daily diet.
My 2 year old noticed me looking at this on the computer and ran straight over asking were we going to make some breakfast ice -

cream, or a date night indulgent dessert
bowl I'm perfectly happy to load up on just fruit and cocoa — it's a divine combo for a
smoothie bowl let's be real, but for an every day meal I want something more balancing this is my jam!
To make the whipped
cream, open the can of coconut milk and scoop out the top layer of solid coconut
cream into the
bowl of a stand mixer (sidenote: save the remaining coconut liquid for
smoothies!).
Sorbet beats

Okay, let's throw all rules out of the window and just say that this
smoothie bowl with strawberries, coconut
cream, and corn flakes is a breakfast «dessert» that you can feel good about eating.
So next time you have that mid-day ice
cream craving (surely I am not the only one) I would recommend throwing together a nutritious
smoothie bowl instead!
When I made the
smoothie bowls for the first time my initial thought was — let's freeze the
smoothie bowl and see if it makes an ice
cream of sorts.
Amp up oatmeal,
smoothie bowls, pancakes, waffles and ice
cream with a generous sprinkle of Mulberries — mixed in or added on top!
The
smoothie bowl does actually freeze to be somewhere between ice
cream + sherbet -LCB- depending on if you use water or some kind of milk in it -RCB-.

I'm so, SO very pleased I found this recipe — it's perfect and will be a tasty little addition to Chia pudding...

I love using it as a topping for chia pudding, nice
cream,
smoothies, over a
bowl of fresh fruit or in place of cereal.
Scoop out the white layer of
cream that has risen to the top and place it in a large mixing
bowl (discard the water or save for later use in
smoothies, etc.).
I always have big bags of frozen berries in the freezer but having fresh berries on hand is perfect for oatmeal, for snacking and for garnishing

cream!
Eat it straight up like cereal or use it to top your creamy
smoothie bowls or nice
creams, or heck eat it straight out of the container.
It's not a
smoothie, it's not ice
cream, it's not frozen yoghurt, it's a cleansing acai

creamed rice • 250 - 300 ml milk shake or fruit
smoothie • 600 ml low fat flavoured milk • 1 large
bowl (2 cups) breakfast cereal with milk • 2 small cereal bars + 200g flavoured yoghurt • 220g baked beans on 2 slices of toast • 2 crumpets with thick spread peanut butter + 250 ml glass of milk • 300g (large) baked potato + cottage cheese filling + glass of milk
In a separate
bowl, remove the thick white
cream of the chilled coconut milk only; reserve liquid coconut milk for
smoothie or other recipe.
Whether it's because I really love ice
cream or have some bizarre affinity to
bowls,
smoothie bowls are pretty much the light of my life right now.
We love
smoothies, juices and ice
cream, but when it's cold and rainy outside, there's nothing more comforting than a warm
bowl of oats... and chocolate.
