Jean runs The Academy for Dog Trainers and is the author of several books,

Culture Clash, which is considered by many to be the most influential book on dogs they've read.
The main characteristic of her work is that her subject matter
includes her personal feelings about an unrooted childhood when she had to leave The Soviet Union and move to America, the
clashing cultures and nature's magnificence.
