DJ camp Ballroom Marfa welcomes DJs Bigface and Faith Gay back to the Big Bend to help save the local party scene from the scourge of the anonymous iPod shuffle.
DJ camp is open to any Marfa Jr / Sr High School student, ages 10 - 18, and there is no fee to attend.
Faith has big plans for this summer's Ballroom Marfa
DJ camp and looks forward to teaching DJ basics as well as offering art projects directly inspired by each student's developing sound style and DJ persona.

There is a long list of activities available at the resort including: the Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street program; kids
camps for all ages; Pirate's Island Waterpark; Scratch
DJ Academy; live entertainment; and a variety of land and water sports.
By night a wealth of
DJ talent and live acts (to be announced) will ensure a weekend is transformed into half adventure
camp, half music festival.
There's the water park, sure, but there's also a

DJ Academy» where your kid can learn to rock the decks, scuba - diving lessons, and spas and cocktails aplenty for grownups.

camp week — complete with Boardmasters Opening & Closing parties, special guests Hein Cooper & Wille & The Bandits, intimate live music gigs and
DJs, daily surf lessons and yoga sessions alongside surf pros Luke Dillon, Tassy Swallow and Lucy Campbell, starlit surf cinema nights, skateboarding and BBQs, traditional French wine & cheese, sunset drinks on the beach, exploring Moliets» local bars and much, much more!
Between the 13th and 19th of December, the resort felt like a winter wonderland with ideal surf, oh sorry, snow conditions, world - class

camp company to make, once again, unforgettable memories with!
While getting practical experience on the equipment is a core component of the
camp, each instructor will also present DJing as an art form with a rich culture and history, with portions of each class covering the history of the
DJ and basic music theory.
