Bethesda has confirmed that the Wolfenstein II Switch port is being handled by developer the studio responsible for
the DOOM Switch port, Panic Button.

Not content with massive sales on other platforms and burgeoning esports leagues, this
Switch port from Panic Button (the studio also behind
DOOM on
Switch) retains its excellent balance and tight controls in both handheld and docked mode.
It was
ported to the Nintendo
Switch by developer Panic Button who have also worked on
DOOM port for the
Switch.
The
Switch continues to be a great place for
ports of fantastic games, and my feelings around Bayonetta's
Switch Collection are much the same as they were for Skyrim and
DOOM; this is the perfect excuse to either replay these games or to experience them for the first time if you missed them the first time around.
In the past, ideas that Red Dead Redemption might come to the
Switch have been thought impossible due to hardware restrictions, but after L.A. Noire and the even more recently
DOOM was
ported to the handheld - hybrid, that no longer seems like a problem.
Wolfenstein II will launch later this year on Nintendo
Switch,
ported by Panic Button (the same studio that delivered the
DOOM port).
Game Reactor has confirmed that Wolfenstein II will be released on Nintendo
Switch in early 2018 and that the team behind the
port is Panic Button, the same one that developed the
DOOM port.
While there have been valiant efforts in
porting big AAA games to Nintendo's latest hardware — Bethesda's
DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus come to mind — the next AC game may be too ambitious for the
Switch.

DOOM will be arriving on the handheld hybrid on November 10th.
So, what we're seeing here, like we saw with
DOOM for
Switch, is an amazing, fantastic game being
ported to Nintendo's console / handheld hybrid.
