polling intelligence on how voters are actually reacting to the endless speeches and stratagems comes in the form of a
poll from Survation published in today's
Daily Record.
The latest
poll of voting intentions for Thursday's election, conducted by Survation for the
Daily Record, is of particular interest for two reasons.
A YouGov
poll published in the
Daily Telegraph today shows the Conservative party holding a 21 - year -
record lead over Labour with an 18 - point advantage.

Just 24 hours after the publication of the first readings of the year, today's
Daily Record reports the findings of its latest monthly
poll from Survation.
In a
poll that appears in today's
Daily Record, Survation put the SNP on 51 %, up four points on its previous reading in mid-March, while Labour support is said to be unchanged on 26 %.
The exception is Opinium for the
Daily Express, which has the Conservatives a point or two above the consensus and Labour three points below the share
recorded by all three other
polls.
It was suggested in this morning's
Daily Record that the
poll there would not happen until November!
This is the lowest score our
daily polling has given to the Conservatives since the General Election (although we have
recorded a higher Labour lead in the meantime, on days when there was lower support for the Liberal Democrats or minor parties).
