One
day a week, typically Wednesdays, Nirav does a 30 - minute
circuit workout inspired by Dr. Doug McGuff, the author of Body by Science.
I had a banana and went to the gym for a strength
circuit - I was supposed to be resting, but I wanted to get my
workouts in before a few
days off for taper.
Day 2: Work the pressing muscles during the first 15 minutes of the
workout, using some lighter pump work, like isolation exercises done in
circuit fashion.
Recovery is super important when
circuit training, so allow for at least one to two
days off between each
workout to allow for proper recovery.

In Phase 1 (the first 4 weeks), you'll dedicate 4
days a week to the lifting
workouts, split between upper and lower body
circuits.
How I plan a week: The format I generally use for total body training would include a lower body
workout like this with a light ab
circuit on
Day 1, an upper body
workout on
Day 2 as well as a fast bodyweight
circuit, another leg
circuit on
Day 3 with a core
workout, and a final upper body
circuit on
Day 4 with a fast bodyweight
circuit.
