Mama By Fire is the name of my blog because since becoming a mom, I feel as if I'm learning by fire every day.

However, since many Mamas wear their rainboots almost year - round, rainboots can look just as fabulous paired with bare legs and dresses (or shorts) on a wet - but - warm Spring day as they do with jeans and puffer jackets in the Winter.

As is the case with all Dansko shoes, special attention was paid to comfort... which is forever important to us mamas who are on our feet all day!

As we are less then 2 weeks away from the close of 2014 and just one day away from Fit Running Mama turning two years old I can't help but be a bit reflective.
