day poll workers.

Among the issues Kavanagh raised are BOE staffing and

The Labour leader needs to remind himself of this fact and also bear in mind that he can't afford to lose his bloc of ex-Lib Dem voters, who have ensured his party has had a
poll lead since 2010 and who won't be keen on an opposition that brings back the nasty «British jobs for British
workers» rhetoric of the New Labour
days.
The bill (S1836) permits local Boards of Elections to hire election inspectors for half -
day shifts, preventing fatigue and flexibility for
workers whose shifts often start before the
polls open at 6 AM and end after they close at 9 PM.
