The story in Dead Island Riptide is really quite subpar and you wonder why more effort wasn't put into the story telling.

With the original games taking place in a set of islands, Escape Dead Island has the task of explaining what happens in the story that causes the zombie outbreak to reach land for the Dead Island 2 setting of San Francisco.

I was a big fan of Dead Island, sure it had its bugs but I really enjoyed its combat, scavenging for equipment and being able to co-op through the whole story with up to three friends.
