I'm a huge
fan of most all Rockstar games, but Red
Dead Redemption simply lacks any real
soul.
Before I begin, I should mention that I've been a massive
fan of the
Souls series ever since Demon's
Souls and an equally huge follower of Team Ninja ever since
Dead or Alive debuted.
With so many influential
fans — such as celebs like Star Wars / Shaun of the
Dead actor Peter Serafinowicz (who stars in the game)-- Dark
Souls does a good job of promoting itself.
Fans that feel that zombies are a step too far into the realms of fantasy for the Yakuza universe will be glad to know that Yakuza:
Dead Souls» narrative, whilst played straight, isn't treat as canon.
Ever since Legacy of Kain:
Dead Sun was revealed as a cancelled Square Enix reboot of the 1999 classic
Soul Reaver,
fans have wept as they saw screenshots and details of the game they wanted for years but never got.
Hardcore
fans will be able to decide for themselves because Yakuza:
Dead Souls is out today for the PS3.
Capcom's
Dead Rising 3 once again lets its protagonist don fabled armor from the
fan - favorite franchise, gifting a Mega Man X costume to any brave
soul who completes the game.
If you're a big
fan of the Blood Omen and
Soul Reaver games, you probably remember the crushing disappointment when Legacy of Kain:
Dead Sun was quietly cancelled.
The only word I have heard is a comment from the author of a PS Blog article, stating that they did not have an answer at this time, but the best idea for
fans would be to wait, and purchase more copies of 4 /
Dead Souls.
Fan favourite Yakuza 5 is coming to the PlayStation 4 as well as Yakuza 4 and Yakuza:
Dead Souls.
The
fan service continues with exclusive characters such as as Sterk from Atelier, Kasumi from
Dead or Alive, Xu Shu from Dynasty Warriors and Sophitia from
Soul Calibur.
