With Red
Dead Redemption, Rockstar succeeds in creating one of the most impressive open worlds I've ever

game, and it's telling that — even after playing for over 30 hours — all I want to do is get back on my horse and gallop back into the wilderness.
From the «Telltale's TWD series fanboy» side this
game having all you need: good and charismatic characters with their own stories, absolutely GREAT main character, Michonne, and, for the first time, those cool psychodelic flashbacks with her daughters are absolutely creeping me out in a good way and COOLEST ACTION with machette, when I was
seeing that, I was just like «Whoa, well, you got what you deserved, you walking
dead motherf ** kers!».
Game Cube may be
dead, and buried by the strong
dead competitors (PS2 and Xbox) but it had the abilities that we never
saw that it could have let go at the time.
Never did I think that I would like a
game based on a TV series, so buying The Walking
Dead never reached my mind, but when I noticed it's great reviews I thought I'll just buy the first one and I'll
see how it is.
There's a ton of dialogue to be heard and choices to made and even though they won't impact the story all that much — it has a fixed ending — The Walking
Dead's story shines and delivers one of the best
game - endings we've ever
seen.

The original Red
Dead Redemption introduced
gamers to a varied cast of well rounded and believable characters back in 2010 and it would be a shame not to
see some familiar faces returning for the prequel (because we now know it is, in fact, a prequel).
One thing we often
see in Red
Dead Redemption 2 related discussions is people getting mobbed for daring to suggest that Rockstar might show something about the
game at this year's E3.
Red
Dead Redemption 2's landscapes will be a far cry from those
seen in the first
game, with an emphasis on lush forests and snowy mountains.

An amusing and brain -
dead PS2
game that will appeal to the side of everyone's brain that thinks blowing stuff to kingdom come is cool, but which will outgrow its welcome as soon as everything that can be
seen or blown - to - bits in this limited setting has been done.
In the process, Capcom has
seen to it that the scope of the next
Dead Rising
game has also been cut.
Over the years the Grand Theft Auto franchise has spawned many an IP that took significant inspiration from
games in that series, and with Red
Dead about to explode into the mainstream consciousness, we
see a similar future ahead for Westerns.
Speaking at the annual Credit Suisse Technology, Media & Telecom Conference — an event where usually Strauss Zelnick represents Take - Two — the president of Take - Two Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games, developers of Red
Dead Redemption 2, spoke a bit about how he
sees the future of the video
game industry.
We still haven't
seen much gameplay from Red
Dead Redemption 2, nor have we learned about the
game's online component.
While it might still be a while until we reach that point of a fully digital gaming industry, based on the speed at which Rockstar Games releases its titles, we might very well
see Red
Dead Redemption 3, or whatever the fourth
game in the franchise will be called circa a decade in the future, get released in digital format only without any retail versions.
Silent Hill caught my attention when I
saw a gruesome screen shot of Harry standing over a
dead dog in a bloodied alley featured in some sort of upcoming
games article in one of my brother's random
game magazines.
Rockstar have a steady record of delivering amazing
games, and I don't
see that stopping with Red
Dead 2.
Wired Magazine, College Humor and G4TV all called it the best video
game trailer of all time, with G4TV adding «The
Dead Island trailer is the best trailer I have ever
seen in my life.
Since it's improbable that Rockstar will dig up Red
Dead Revolver, the only possibility for
seeing the franchise on Nintendo's hybrid console would be if an entirely new
game, made just for that platform, is developed.

That said, given Red
Dead Redemption 2's PS4 marketing deal, we could definitely
see a world where the
game appears briefly on Sony's stage at E3.
We haven't
seen a great deal from the
game outside of its two trailers, but we know it will be a prequel, star a new protagonist called Arthur Morgan, and will more than likely feature a GTA Online - style multiplayer mode called Red
Dead Online.
It's been almost three years since we
saw a
Dead Rising
game, ad even longer since we
saw protagonist Frank West.

In one instance, we
saw the Chattes Noires theatre from the Sakura Wars
games alongside Colby's Movie Land from the
Dead Rising series.
I have no doubt that we will
see Dutch shoot Heidi McCourt in Red
Dead Redemption 2 and while it might end up being a horrible moment of sudden violence, it makes John's past tangible and knowable in a way that fundamentally undermines the first
game.
I've
seen Night of the Living
Dead several times in the past, but it's been a long while since I have — and there have been plenty of zombie movies and
games that have filled the gap between then.
It will also interesting to
see if the
game will come to PC or not as the previous
game Dead Rising 3 was an Xbox One exclusive.
Now I've
seen some strange things happen during a prolonged
game of Monopoly (money disappears from the bank, hotels magically appear on Park Place), but nothing as weird as what happens when these kids attempt to communicate with the
dead.
Deep Silver has announced that the upcoming Escape
Dead Island video
game will be releasing on November 18, 2014 for North America with Europe
seeing the
game on November 21, 2014.

You could think of
Dead Rising as being the sort of comedy remake they would do as a reboot to the Resident Evil series in say a decade or so from now... kind of the way they are rebooting all sorts of tv series now but making them comedies... I should also note here... I am aware there is actually a
Dead Rising movie already... I haven't
seen it but I hope it's good and has the same humour as the
game.
Dead Rising 4 takes place 16 years after the events of the first
game and basically
sees Frank West (that would be you)... tricked into returning to Willamette, the epicenter of the original outbreak, with the promise of mini golf.
While the first two
games in the series were limited to characters from Koei's stable of historically - inspired titles, the addition of Tecmo gives us a chance to
see characters like the purple - haired ninja Ayane and Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and
Dead or Alive make appearances as well.
