The local play is fun but is always better if you can get some friends around as there is the possibility of making up your own fun matches with activities such as hide and seek (This mode doesn't exist in the game, it is one I made up for the Team
Deathmatch mode when you have friends).

There used to be a time
when game developers added a
deathmatch mode to a game simply so they could have the multiplayer bullet point on the back of the box.
Battle
modes I encountered were Bomb Delivery, King of the Hill, and Capture the Flag, however,
when playing online it seems the type of match is chosen at random, and I sadly did not come across a
Deathmatch outside of Skirmish
mode for couch co-op.
Deathmatch style
modes include Free - for - all in which it is every man for himself with the first player to reach the score limit ending the game or otherwise the highest scores are counted after the time limit has expired with the top three players on the podium being classed as successful in the match; Team
Deathmatch is a team based version of Free - for - all in which both teams are attempting to win the game by reaching the score limit or having the most kills
when the time limit expires; and Kill Confirmed sees everyone attempting to recover dog tags to score for your team and deny the enemy from scoring.
When it comes to game
modes, the usual suspects — Team
Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, etc. — were present alongside the new Safeguard
mode, which was added to the beta post-launch and proved to be one of my favorite game types.
When teams are forming you are able to explore a map and exchange fire with the other team, in a
deathmatch style
mode.
Three styles of play make up Versus
mode: Last Man Standing (the match is over
when there's only one player left, continuing until an Archer reaches a certain number of wins); Headhunters (played until an Archer reaches a certain number of kills); and Team
Deathmatch (require 3 - 4 players, is presumably as it sounds).
The multiplayer is as you would expect it for a Call OF Duty game, I know a lot of you will purchase the game only to play multiplayer, personally I'm not very good at it but still like to take part, I will always be a «runner up»
when playing online multiplayer but like to give it a shot, it comes with all of the usual standard game
modes; Team
Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy, Free For All, Capture the flag etc and also has a multiplayer
mode known as war which doesn't really rank you on kills or deaths, it's an objective based game
mode in which you are usually attacking or defending and have 3 separate objectives to complete in order to win whether it be building a bridge or escorting a tank, I found this the most enjoyable out of the standard multiplayer list.
By having equivalents to Call of Duty's Team
Deathmatch and Domination
modes, Titanfall checks the most popular boxes, but
when you compare it to the three - games - in - one - for - the - same - price approach of Call of Duty, Titanfall feels small.
Replayability stems from numerous
modes that feel fresh
when comparing them to each other, three difficulty levels providing a noticeably varying challenge, car and track design inspired by the Cars films, Thomasville Playground offering 18 challenges, alongside extensive local competitive multiplayer for 2 to 4 players throughout every event and
mode with
deathmatch modes available in Thomasville Playground and local co-operative multiplayer in Sponsored Team Play
mode which is also playable competitively.
