The Desktop version has a dedicated
Default apps page under Settings → System.
These themes mostly just change the edge of your browser, unless you go to
the default apps page (chrome: / / apps), in which case it becomes your background, as you can see in the image above.
Scroll down in the System sidebar to find
the Default Apps page.

They do have
page turn buttons sure, but it has been my experience with Android driven e-readers (by reviewing them all) that the
page turn buttons work with the
default e-reading
app and select
apps from the Android market.

page's ink bleeding through.

The main homepage offers up links to these hubs by
default, which can be easily changed to more useful

I'm having trouble with the Opera mobile and the
default browser; both don't work (when selected, I get taken back to the home screen), and in the market, I can't
page up or down once I get into
Apps - > Communication — > Top Free (pressing the nook buttons does nothing), so I can not get to the Opera Mini
app to try a reinstall.

Tapping more settings will take users to the notification
page for that individual
app with the same controls and a button to reset the importance to the system
default and an option to override Do Not Disturb.
If you're content with your
app icons being scattered everywhere across your homepage and other
pages, the
default Standard layout will suit you fine.

default it's a mess, randomly arranged, with new
apps being plonked on the last
page.

pages which you will swipe right to left.
