Hi Inger,
Depending on your candida diet protocol, baking soda and baking powder are good to limit during a candida cleanse.

If you are doing the
candida diet, the only other grains that acceptable (
depending on the protocol you are following) are spelt and oat flour.
My theory is that it just uses up a lot of nutrients in the body to be able to digest it, almost like very burnt food and therefore
depending on if you're running low
on vitamins and minerals anyway, it can have a negative knock
on effect
on your
Candida symptoms... I definitely noticed that I never experienced any set backs from eating wholegrain rice, only ever from rice cakes... so the past few months I have been sticking to soaked and cooked whole grains, and it is making a difference.
The length of time it takes for this condition (and it's related symptoms) to resolve will
depend on many factors including: the amount of
candida in the system, the strength of the immune system, intestinal and digestive integrity, and nutrient status.
I was told when healing the gut I should do an elimination diet and cut all dairy out at first and grains except quinoa too (I see some include raw dairy
on candida diets, does it just
depend if you want to find what you react badly too) but am guessing you don't necessarily have to be grain free to heal
candida or the gut.
How long you should remain
on the
Candida Cleanse all
depends on how long and how severe the symptoms are.
How long the die off lasts
depends on how long you have had
Candida and if there are other infections that hinder your recovery.
Depending on the level of infection, in some or even most people, it may take more than just the apple cider vinegar to kill
candida overgrowth.
How long you should follow the
candida diet
depends on your symptoms, health history, the severity of the
candida overgrowth and how faithfully you follow the diet and supplement recommendations.
