I think the major reason Wenger did not
sign a strong DM is because of
Diaby, Wenger may think it s his last chance to prove what he is capable of and he is when fit so I expect to see a breaktrough or fail from
Diaby.You have to admire the loyalty of Wenger on those kind of point, the team is still short of defender but I do think that a
Diaby fit can be a good DM
as he is tall, strong and technical.There is 3
new striker, Campbell and Sanchez who can play the wings and a tall, strong Wellbeck who can bully the defenders in the box, all three have pace so it s an upgrade on Giroud and Sanogo.
I would sell him without hesitation but don't see that happening... I just hope that wenger doesn't use it
as excuse not to strengthen attacking options... That's what he did last summer in DM position with his silly talk of

new signing... it cost us challenging for the title this year and history sadly might well repeat itself with predictable consequences
As a long time fan, anyone who thinks we will buy a center - back or a DM is totally nuts... Come on guys, u can do better than that because i believe you are smart people... I will happily bet my house that Wenger will state that Iwobi is the next Tierry Henry so no striker is needed and that Wilshire being an injury recovery is like a
new signing (A la
Diaby) there wont be any
new signings of note and they wont care if we
as fans do our bollocks or not cos they know theres NOTHING we can do
