Do vegetarians eat cheese and eggs?
It reminds me, my wife and I last night were talking about a dinner party and the conversation was something like, «Well,
do vegetarians eat this?»

Personally, I'm not sure how
vegetarians do it; while the wrap was tasty, I felt just as hungry after
eating it as before.
To put this in less emotionally fraught terms — is a
vegetarian someone who doesn't
eat meat or someone who says he doesn't
eat meat, but
does anyway?
I like totally only
eat vegetarian and remind everyone every 15 minutes that I don't
eat meat.
Please don't get me wrong but you can not be a
vegetarian and
eat meat.
It makes me feel that the term «vegan» is extremely unfortunate and misleading, because the term
does not emphasize or even signify respect for animals or living beings or creatures, as it would benefit from
doing, but rather uses a derivative form of «vegetable» or «
vegetarian», which makes it sound as if the central point is —
eating vegetation, i.e. plants, which makes it sound like a diet.

do really like this post and agree with most of what you're saying, however I would like to know what you think about the ethical side of being vegan /
vegetarian because personally I think you SHOULD restrict yourself from
eating animal products, considering the pain and suffering an animal has had to go through unecessarily for you to
eat them.
I started following you, cause my husband and I where moving to Mumbai and we didn't feel like
eating meat there — wonder why -LRB-????;)-RRB- So its been a great inspiration to me for years and helped me get through my
vegetarian adventure in India.
Restaurants in Copenhagen are crazy expensive, and don't often cater to
vegetarian diets, so I very rarely go out to
eat here.
I
eat healthily most of the time and though not a
vegetarian I only
eat meat if it's in a meal made by someone else and they don't know my preference.
I've
done plant based vegan, fully raw,
vegetarian, healthy, unhealthy, underweight, overweight and I'm aware that the way I
eat may always change in the future so I try to be humble in what I currently believe to be «the best way to
eat» and always relate it only to myself in terms of using the word «best.»
It's thoughtful food with great ideas for adding protein and wholesome carbs to your
vegetarian diet and also works really well if you don't
eat dairy.
The only thing that when I
do this kind of food (meat) have to be careful because my daughter is almost
vegetarian (
eating only fish).
With six kids, I've learned to make a point to honor
eating styles (i.e.,
vegetarian, vegan, etc.) but I don't even try to make everyone happy anymore.
They are in general extremely healthy as like us they
eat loads of Thai vegetables and superfood spices such as fresh turmeric, galangal, etc but some
vegetarians we know are what they call «junk food
vegetarians» that don't have a well balanced diet and go nuts on carbs, especially sweets.

I didn't
eat them because I was a
vegetarian in college for reasons I still don't understand.
There are a lot of compelling reasons to
eat less meat these days, but the shift to a totally or even partly
vegetarian lifestyle is easier said than
done for many beef, poultry, and fish lovers.
I showed it to my fiance and he didn't even balk at
eating vegetarian.

I am thankful that I don't have to «wait - list» clients anymore and can spend more time on the projects I am most passionate about: helping others find their healthiest food relationship, mindful

I know there are plenty of folks out there who follow vegan or
vegetarian diets who don't
eat bacon and that's great, but it's one of the food items I could NOT give up.
This way i know my
vegetarian son who
does not
eat veggies gets his greens.

eat red meat... the quinoa «fried» rice is amazing on it's own, so give that a try before you pass this one up!

Healthy,
vegetarian and vegan
eating is not very popular in Hungary and most people are meat eaters so my audience is small but I believe in this that's why I carry on
doing it.
Since I don't
eat meat I had to find a
vegetarian alternative.
I'm of the camp that if you are
vegetarian, don't bother with the «soy bacon» just go and
eat a pancakes for breakfast.
I am not
vegetarian, I
do eat chicken on occasion.
We both are addicted to sushi so this salad is just perfect, especially for a
vegetarian (I

I don't remember
eating tuna a lot before I became a

If you are vegan or
vegetarian you can omit the chicken and
do chickpeas or white beans, we love to
eat it this way as well.

When my husband isn't around I
eat mostly
vegetarian but I don't commit to a
vegetarian lifestyle because honestly sometimes thinking of a meat dish is easier.
With interest growing in the Meat Free Monday campaign, Paul also points out that
vegetarian cuisine needs to show what it can
do, not only to counter certain false impressions, but to capitalise on the increasing numbers of people
doing their bit for the environment and animal welfare by
eating less meat.
I am not even
vegetarian but we almost don't
eat meat anymore as your recipes don't require them to taste yummy.
I've been considering
eating a paleo diet as well, but as a
vegetarian I don't think that's possible (or, at least, it would be super difficult).
Still to this day, I love my vegan and
vegetarian dishes even though I don't fully
eat that way anymore.
We are

It's easier than it sounds — in India 65 % of the 1.3 billion people are
vegetarians 7 day a week, and those who
do eat meat
do so an average of just one day a week!
The only things I can think of that I didn't differently: used homemade veg broth I had in the freezer (I'm
vegetarian though my husband isn't and he thought the soup was great) used mixed dried mushrooms (you can get a large amount from costco for not too much - I keep them on hand for all my dried mushroom needs)
did a healthy glug of sherry (more than the recipe) into the mushrooms when they were
done sauteeing added spinach at the end to the soup For the dumplings, the only thing I
did that was different than what many would
do is use an egg from one of my hens - other than that I made them just as other people
did but mine were full of flavor and could be
eaten plain.
There are different types of
vegetarians, none
eat meat, but some
eat animal products and some don't.
