I worry about my SCOBY much more than
I do my Water Kefir Grains, so this helps tremendously with keeping the temps consistent.

water kefir grains.

I've never been addicted to soda or anything, but I
do enjoy drinking bubbly beverages from time to time and with using the
water kefir grains to make this you are getting some probiotics as well.
This type of thing might be better for tibicos (
water kefir grains) that don't have the same issues).
So go ahead and
do all your experiments, including putting milk
kefir grains into sugar
water and
water kefir grains into milk or anything else but understand that they will not grow on these other mediums.

Water grains are a bit different, you need to convert your milk
grains to eat sugar but once converted, they
do nt change back to milk

Contrary to some schools of thought, we
DO NOT recommend rinsing
Water Kefir grains between uses.

grains again (you don't need to rinse them and if you
do rinse them make sure not to rinse with chlorinated
water — it will kill the
kefir!)

kefir grains, someone told me to look for them with my fingers, I found them, and then washed them in spring

Water kefir grains do not affect people with lactose intolerance there is no milk used with them so it is completely dairy free.
Do you have a brand of
water kefir grains that you prefer or can recommend?
Coconut
water does not provide enough nutrition for
water kefir grains to reproduce so they will need to be rested in sugar
water after every batch or so to renutrify.
