I am
on a
ketogenic diet from last 9 days but no change in my weight.I also walk briskly for an hour
on treadmill and cycle apart from some exercises.i take three meals in d day comprising of eggs (2) and cottage cheese in the morning with green tea with coconut milk, Red meat 2pieces or chicken with tomatoes or spinach cooked in olive oil in lunch and egg scramble and 1 piece of meat in evening.please suggest me what should I
do to
go into ketosis immediately

doing the blood glucose / ketone testing with strips like you (but once / day every 2 days) and have been living with the
ketogenic diet full
on since Feb14, I found I couldn't get my blood sugars to
go lower than around 4.5 mmol (was trying to get down to Dr Seifreid's recommended 3.6, or at least under 4) after starting the intermittent fasting they really stabilised.
Before I
go into what my lipid results were, I thought it would be a interesting to
do a literature search to find what data there is in the academic literature looking into the effect of a
ketogenic diet on cholesterol.
That's gonna give you that
Ketogenic diet and then most people they mess up
on the Keto is they just
do too much protein.
Also, it should be noted, that a lot of people dealing with cancer are told to
go on a
ketogenic diet because, again, cancer feeds off sugar, so by eliminating that you could improve how your body fights cancer (but I'm not a doctor, and please don't
do this unless a doctor tells you to!)
If you
do crossfit four times a week, bike 10 miles to work, play the occasional soccer game and like to
go rock climbing
on the weekends, a
ketogenic diet might just not be for you.
I am not trying to be
on a
ketogenic diet and
do not want to
go into ketosis.

on a
ketogenic diet while taking CO and things
did not
go well.
But at the same time, cholesterol may
go up
on a
ketogenic diet but if it
does, I see the HTL
go up in conjunction wih the LDL so the ratio is not getting worst and the trigs will also
go down and the particles side shifts so your LDL A would
go up, B would
go down and your LDL will also improve too.
These benefits
go above and beyond what a
ketogenic diet can
do on its own.
However, my book
does not require a
Ketogenic diet at all because, really, ketones — Well,
Ketogenic metabolism — a lot of people aren't prepared [crosstalk] to metabolize ketones, and to
go on a strict
Ketogenic diet, it will screw up their adrenals, it can screw up their thyroid...
If someone comes up to me and says, hey with all the symptoms of bipolar disorder, I can't first off say oh
go on this
ketogenic diet because we just don't have the evidence.
It also its interesting bipolar disorder the study has not been
done though I'm aware of some case studies people have emailed me who have had symptoms very consistent with bipolar disorder and
went on zero carb
ketogenic diets.
