Another thought, especially if you do swap the kitchen and dining rooms, is to put a divider / wall between
the Dutch door entrance area and the dining area.
Yes I do have a few more areas to think about and
the Dutch door entrance is one I definitely want to consider before anything is finalized.

Deluxe King rooms each feature a private garden
entrance, terrace with
Dutch door, and cozy fireplace.
Beyond that, we can continue to refine it with the addition of white paneling (see our front entry inspiration post here), the new
Dutch door, new hardware on the interior
doors and creating a new
entrance for the bedroom.
A few of you (and my mom) suggested that it would be nice to find a way to make the
Dutch Door into a «mudroom» type
entrance.
We do have the option of reconfiguring a bit and setting up the area by the
Dutch door like a mudroom
entrance (possibly even a powder room in that area).
There's still lots to do like clean up the the new concrete, add a
Dutch door to the front and this porch
entrance, wrap the porch posts to make them chunkier, add stair railings and a front fence and gate.
The
door on the far left is the current back
entrance, which will be kept as our main
entrance for friends & family (I'm already dreaming of a
dutch door here).
