Perhaps cone -
shaped eggs are less likely to roll out of the nest of cliff -
dwelling birds; spherical eggs might be
more resilient to damage in the nest.
I put my crash hemlmet back on, because Mother Nature has
more beautiful sights to offer: the Three Rondavels, slate mounds which have eroded in the
shape pf the round
dwellings one sees in the countryside and which are called rondavels.
