In the current research, scientists led by Hao Cao, a UCLA postdoctoral scholar working in the
laboratory of Christopher T. Russell, created a
model to show how the
dynamics of Mercury's core contribute to this unusual phenomenon.
This session examined the biogeochemical processes that are likely to affect the evolution of the Earth system over the coming decades, with a focus on the
dynamics of marine and terrestrial ecosystems and the development of improved understanding through (a) fieldwork and
laboratory experiments, (b) development of new observational datasets, both modern and palaeo, and (c) simulations using numerical
models.

Dynamics Laboratory at the James Forrestal Campus, a short distance from the main campus.
They partnered with Pennsylvania State University's Applied Research
Laboratory (ARL) to construct a computational fluid
dynamics (CFD)
model to study the air flow within the building.
