I love the
EF dress over
silk pants you wore to the dressy event.
However, I do wear them with the
silk tank from
EF (the longer one that covers the crotch) and also the
silk CYA tank from athleta (also longer, covers the crotch and any VPL).

The weather had suddenly turned too cool to wear what I'd packed for the event (a linen dress and cardigan) so I wore lightweight
silk separates (jacket, pants and top, all
EF, black and grey).

EF pieces is that they hold up very well... right now I'm wearing one of the
silk tanks that's probably at least 3 years old, has been worn and washed countless times.
