Combine that with the excellent
EQM earnings and the big contribution to the EQD targets (coming in 2017) and these fares are fantastic value.
Most people don't travel enough to earn status so
the EQM earnings are irrelevant, most flyers don't have systemwide upgrades to use and most flyers don't have the status needed to secure upgrades on long haul flights even if they have the miles needed to upgrade.

earnings will be (
EQM, RDM & EQD) for each method of booking — the chances are that the less you pay for your fare the better it will be for you if you book through a partner airline rather than American.

earnings chart but, like Malaysia Airlines and Royal Jordanian, the cheapest Economy class fares not only fail to earn
EQM but EQD too.
