Programming at IMMA encompasses Production Residencies for artists Sam Keogh and John Rainey to
work on new commissions by

The resulting
work will be exhibited at The Hunt Museum, Limerick as part of the 38th
EVA International, 14 April — 08 July 2018.

EVA international was founded in 1977 by artists and has a rich history with an extraordinary alumni of over 2,000 artists and 40 guest curators from across the world, who created
works and exhibitions specifically for the city.

works in close partnership with Limerick City Gallery of Art.
Thousands Are Sailing resonates with a host of recent
international works on this topical theme outside of
EVA — as in John Akomfrah's recently acclaimed threechannel, video installation Vertigo Sea (2015) that debuted at the 56th Venice Biennale, or Ai Weiwei's controversial re-staging of a now - iconic photograph of the drowned infant Aylan Kurdi.
The Young
EVA Audio Collective, is a collective of teenage students who will
work together with facilitators to develop sound recordings from their visit to the 38th edition of
EVA International.
Her

At the
EVA International, their
work will be woven into Guerrero's larger curatorial vision, which is based on Ardnacrusha, a hydroelectric dam built in 1925 in Ireland that represented technological progress and the promise of modernity.
Eshetu's
