earlier today, Pete Hines
of Bethesda,
game director Matt Firor and creative director Paul Sage
went over some
of the big changes coming to the PC
version of The Elder Scrolls Online, along with what's in store for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases in June.
In the E3 build and
earlier versions of the
game, triggering Sonic's blurry feet took longer than it did in the original
games, and in some cases you'd be running at near maximum speed but wouldn't have the blur
going on.
I did notice that when you're being attacked by a group
of enemies their numbers are less than what you would expect to see in the console
versions, but this
goes back to what I mentioned
earlier; in order to port a console
game over to a handheld, concessions need to be made.
On overall, how much time you needed to
go from the first
version of the
game to the
Early Access release?
Some
of them — «Mario Kart 8», «Splatoon 2» — are gussied - up
versions of games that appeared on Nintendo's
earlier Wii U. Others, such as «Payday 2», relaunched last week, or the forthcoming «Dark Souls», come from an
earlier generation
of consoles, re-engineered for an audience desperate for
games to play on the
go.
I'm just happy we agreed that when we
went into
Early Access we would release a kind
of beta
version of the
game which was somewhat stable and that you could play.
The developer's own private
version of an
early access program, The Founding
went live last month on PC, providing interested
gamers with an
early - alpha build
of the
game.
Sony Online Entertainment has released a batch

version of the
game, which
went
