BRIDGETOWN - Greenbushes Shire Council's investigation into the feasibility of co-locating a range of community,
education and sporting facilities has won the backing of the South
West Development
Commission.
Government is also building and
commissioning more Community Day Senior High schools, to increase access and to reduce imbalance in the provision of
education across the country.This is the vision of the government; to transform Ghana into a leading
education hub, for the
West African Sub-region, and it was also building new universities, training colleges and vocational schools across the country.
The debate was organised by the National
Commission for Civic
Education (NCCE), with support from the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD - Ghana), Open Society Initiative for
West Africa (OSIWA), and Coalition for Domestic Elections Observers (CODEO), and its partner organizations towards next month's general election at Hwidiem in the Asutifi South Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region.

Education; Jim Peyser, New Schools Venture Fund; Dianne Pichè, Citizens
Commission on Civil Rights; John Winn, former Florida Commissioner of
Education; and Dr. Martin
West, Brown University.
Additionally, the division supports the work of the
West Virginia Higher
Education Policy
Commission's Division of Financial Aid in informing students of the availability of financial aid and assists in the efforts of the
Commission to help adult students complete college degrees.
RESOLVED, that the School Reform
Commission hereby accepts with appreciation by The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, a grant from Drexel University for an amount not to exceed $ 1,200,000 to provide support for services, professional development and professional staff at Samuel Powel Elementary School, Science Leadership Academy Middle School, Alain Locke Elementary School, Martha Washington Elementary School, Morton McMichael Elementary School and
West Philadelphia High School for the implementation and evaluation of «Promise of Strong Partnership for
Education Reform (ProSPER)», a United States Department of
Education Promise Neighborhood grant, for the period commencing April 1, 2018 through December 31, 2021.

Education, she served as
West Virginia's first lady; a commissioner on the

Commission for National and Community Service; the chairwoman of the Governor's Healthy Lifestyles Coalition and the
West Virginia Citizen's Council on Children and Families; and as co-chair on the Governor's 21st Century Jobs Cabinet and the Intellectual Infrastructure of Vision Shared.

West, SEIU Local 1021, Youth UpRising, Oakland Community Organizations (OCO), and Lawyers» Committee for Civil Rights to
commission a study about effective teaching policy in Oakland.
Prior to working for the
Commission, Jonna was a contract employee with Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary working on marine protected areas, a review of
West Coast Sanctuary's research programs, and linking research and
education.
