The

survey referenced in this question likely aren't experts in assessment and — because Smarter Balanced is not a Washington, DC - based organization and its leaders are not well known «inside the beltway» — they are not as familiar with the work the Consortium has done.

insiders about the risk of states breaking away from the consortia and doing their own Common Core aligned tests.
The report uses thirty - seven separate indicators and a massive
survey of

insiders» to determine the relative strength of the teacher unions from coast to coast.
But a new
survey, which consulting group Whiteboard Advisors plans to publish this week, suggests that «
education insiders» aren't so sure that the one of the new tests will resolve all of the issues with standardized testing.
As they did last month, 100 percent of
insiders surveyed flunked Congress on
education issues.
