Washington, D.C., June 22, 2010 — In response to the lack of evaluative data on many college access
programs, The Pell Institute for the
Study of Opportunity in Higher
Education (The Pell Institute), in partnership with the Institute for Higher
Education Policy's (IHEP) Pathways to College Network, has launched the «Evaluation Toolkit» to help increase the effectiveness of college access
programs that serve disadvantaged student populations.
While at Stanford, Ericka has worked in partnership with a California school district to help answer high priority and actionable research questions; mentored first and second year doctoral students as a part of the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate
Education program; served as a doctoral student representative on the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Interdisciplinary
Policy Studies Area Committee; and served as a teaching assistant for quantitative and theoretical courses on educational inequality.
He is past Chair of Educational
Policy Studies and was a founding member of the faculty of the Ed.D.
program in Urban
Education Leadership.
My faculty appointment is in the Department of Educational
Policy Studies where I teach and advise primarily in the Urban
Education Leadership Ed.D.
