Emigration Clearance Required (ECR) category passports, this scheme is known as Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Suraksha Yojana and Bank of Baroda is responsible for facilitating it.
Workers with
an Emigration Clearance Required (ECR) stamp on their passports can join the scheme.
This Oriental insurance scheme is available to all Indian citizens who apply and obtain
an emigration clearance required under the Emigrant Act, 1983 (31 of 1983), between the age group of 18 and 60 years while on employment abroad.
