Each posture during a Yindulgence yoga class is held for long periods
of time (3 to 10 minutes each) to
encourage the slow and safe opening
of connective tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall
feeling of lightness,
spaciousness and peace.
When we try to open to,
encourage, evoke, kindle, call forth, etc. a positive mental factor during meditation — e.g., relaxing the body,
feeling more protected and thus safer, finding some well - being even happiness in awareness,
feeling a sense
of spaciousness in experience — you're right there is a focusing
of attention on that factor.
