End of summer peaches are one of my all - time favorite things.

Summer will soon be coming to an
end and it's time to get my fill
of peaches.
Last
summer, we got down to Chattanooga at the
end of peach session, right after The Peach Truck had left

Peach Truck had left town.
With
summer coming to a close, heirloom tomatoes, fresh corn, and
peaches are slowly going out
of season, and what better way to celebrate them before
summer ends then a nice vibrant raw salad.
Since berries, especially strawberries (which are my absolute fave), are pushing towards the
end of their season, my mind has shifted more towards late
summer fruit like
peaches and other stone fruits.

peach, tropical fruit and honeydew flavors and perfect for an
end of summer or anniversary celebration.
I am mourning the
end of summer and
peaches.

Between the balmy days, sunflowers, sweet corn and
peaches, there's just something special about the
end of summer.

Summer time in Puglia lasts from the
end of May when it is already warm — and the strawberries and
peaches will be ripening — to the
end of September.
