teachers, these four have helped me
enhance my use of formative
data and feedback to further student achievement in a diverse and differentiated classroom.
Nevada's school report cards, though, include
teacher - qualification
data, and the state recently
enhanced its
teacher education program - approval and - review process.
Understanding school context is best done by analyzing school and student

And parents don't know that our district will be the model for all others — because we do it best — we will collect SSP
data in the form of social and emotional surveys, we will change our curriculum to socially engineer our children with social and emotional instruction without parents suspecting a thing, we will assess and survey up the wazoo about academics, school climate, cyberbullying, etc. while willing parents stand by, we will
enhance our
teacher evaluation program and refine it into a well - oiled
teacher manipulation machine, and since our kids would do well no matter what because we have uber - involved parents, it will look like everything the Administrators are doing at the State's recommendation causes the success.
These
data can then easily be plotted, layered, reviewed, and queried using a variety of technological platforms and can
enhance student learning across contexts — whether they be the learning of content as guided in the standards or learning about the communities in which
teachers and students live.
While
teachers use technology to access and manipulate
data, gather resources, and
enhance instruction,
teachers who support student - centered instruction fully understand that in the hands of their students, technology offers the potential to problem solve in a real - world context (Lajoie, 2000) and to construct knowledge through global interaction.
Preservice
teachers tended to use digital still and video cameras to document student learning and spreadsheets to communicate student assessment
data (NETS - T IV), while they used presentation (PowerPoint) and desktop publishing to
enhance their productivity and professional practice (NETS - T V).
Based on survey
data, online student
teachers were comfortable on the computer, obtained
enhanced digital literacy skills, and were more likely to use the resources they found online in their classes.
The Center's work will include, but is not limited to, professional development for the infant / toddler and preschool workforce; evidence - based curriculum; early learning standards; effective transitions; screening and assessment; culturally and linguistically age appropriate practices;
