estate licensees advertise themselves as buyer agents, but really they and their companies work for the sellers.
Federal fair housing law, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, family status, or handicap, applies when real
estate licensees advertise or lease any residential property.

advertising like feature sheets and other forms of online listing information, and that database can not accommodate the entire
licensee name of a personal real
estate corporation, the MLS ® will generate «Robbie Vendre PREC *» and a footnote will appear at the bottom of the information that reads «* PREC represents personal real
estate corporation».
Licensees that are members of a real
estate board should check with their local board for any specific
advertising requirements that are in addition to the Council's guidelines.

estate teams by defining teams and regulating the

licensees as part of a team or group.

estate is being offered for sale or other disposition unless the owner of the real
estate, or an authorized agent of the owner, has consented to the
advertising.
If any unlicensed individuals are named in
advertising for a team, the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously state which individuals are real
estate licensees and which ones are not.

licensee must not publish real
estate advertising that the
licensee knows, or reasonably ought to know, contains a false or misleading statement or misrepresentation concerning real
estate, a trade in real
estate or the provision of real
estate services.
(5) If the council approves a team name for a group of related
licensees, real
estate advertising may also identify the group by this team name.
If Mr. Wu wishes to continue
advertising using his
licensee name, then the correct answer is a) Jeffrey Wu Personal Real
Estate Corporation.
If you are a member of a team of
licensees, and the Council has approved the team name, you may use that team name in
advertising, either on its own or in combination with the personal real
estate corporation name.
For example, if Robert Smith has a personal real
estate corporation with the licensee name of Rob Smith Personal Real Estate Corporation, all advertising must refer to Rob Smith Personal Real Estate Corporation, not to Robert Smith, or to Rob Smith
estate corporation with the
licensee name of Rob Smith Personal Real
Estate Corporation, all advertising must refer to Rob Smith Personal Real Estate Corporation, not to Robert Smith, or to Rob Smith

REALTORS ®, when
advertising unlisted real property for sale / lease in which they have an ownership interest, shall disclose their status as both owners / landlords and as REALTORS ® or real

licensee is engaged in their capacity as
